RoboCop: Rogue City is currently slated for release for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store on November 2nd. Apparently, OCP is planning on replacing the Detroit Police Department with a more compliant robot army… Previously unknown to the police, this new figure is behind a rash of disappearances, a variety of brazen crimes of all kinds and the trafficking of Nuke.Ĭomplicating RoboCop’s mission is the mega-corporation Omni Consumer Products (OCP), which is tracking his actions and analyzing how he performs in his missions to ensure that he remain glitch-free… or the better to control him. Making matters worse is that the gangs have decided to throw in with the “new guy in town”. The story for Rogue City takes place between RoboCop 2 and RoboCop 3, and sees RoboCop (played once again by Peter Weller) caught up in the gang violence in Old Detroit. The trailer is admittedly a bit more lighthearted than the grittiness that one would expect from RoboCop (littering is not something where you bust out the Auto 9, obviously), and it’s not Derek Mears under the helmet this time or Peter Weller, but hey, it’s fun!

RoboCop: Rogue City arrives later this week, and in anticipation, Teyon has released a new live-action trailer for Rogue City that sees RoboCop ride out once again into the streets of Old Detroit to combat crime.
